The Kingdom A Solemn Truth
The second installment in The Kingdom fantasy trilogy begins right where Hidden City left off.
Mox has found himself within the confines of a magic waystation Protec 4 in search of Nikki, who has been captured by the stations ruthless leader. He quickly teams up with a select group that would like to see the station destroyed and must blend in with the magical society as they plan their course.
Meanwhile the Guillan Defenders bold attack on the power station has left the leaders- controlled by the preacher, William, upset and hungry to regain control. Brand has found himself at the mercy of William, who has threatened his life as well as his family’s. In the midst of completing William’s tasks, Brand must continue to lead GD in secret if there is going to be any hope to survival.
With Mox, Brand, and Nikki’s attention all focused on survival, the red eyes of Zaffin gaze hungrily over them. The battle for reclamation for Zaffin and his people will soon begin.
